Joe has been a community and social media manager in the video games industry for over ten years, working for such names as Gearbox Software/Publishing, GameStop, and, most recently, Tencent.
After being laid off in May of 2024, Joe began production on the Game Industry Job Hunt podcast to learn ways to optimize his job search and share those lessons with others.
In addition to producing biweekly episodes of the show, Joe is a consultant specializing in helping indie game studios and other brands maximize the impact of their community and social media efforts through a focus on proven engagement strategies.
He lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, son, and two dogs, loves looter shooters, and can't resist good bar-b-que.
